-Your whut wave? In this case nu. Nu-wave.
The as-seen-on-TV miracle oven.

Im not one to promote as seen on tv. But Im promoting as-seen-on-tv. Best albeit small, oven ever made.

chops

So heres a few secrets. As always, devil in the details.

Cooking time is super duper fast. No doubt about it.

Book sez PER SIDE but KEEP COOKING. Double the TIME. Trust me.
The exception is PIZZA and TURKEY.
cook per side and FLIP.Yes…flip the pizza.

Potaetoe will take awhile. But really whats awhile when the oven takes so much moreso? 20 minutes in a oven at near 400 degrees and half baked muffins or 12 in the nuwave or less to crispy golden crunchy brown?

Wings under 20 minutes flat.
Breasts in 18 or less.
NO JOKE This fucker cooks.

You watch the buy-me-now episode. You buy one. But heres what they dont tell you.

You want the pizza and baking kits(extra)
	Theres a rack secret.
This fits about a 9 or 10 inch diameter pan. Not much bigger. So plan ahead for pizzas.

Well, I cant say if you didnt buy the extra kits. So whats up with the rack secret?

shaver

The extended ring on the bottom. It fits like this…

 -\/-

..into the base.

The pointy thing is on the bottom, semi-flat on the top.
There is a lip there, if you seat the lid right. If you dont, it will slip-slide right off.
If this is upside down, the tougue lip will be sticking up at you.

You might not need this ring….UNTIL….

	....here comes the HAM...
	chicken-
	small turkey-

Then this trick comes into play.

Now pay attention.

FOUR INCH mode

But usually I find this is too tall.

four-inch

ONE INCH mode

THIS DOES NOT SIT FLAT.

one-inch

Same FOUR INCH rack, flipped UPSIDE DOWN.
Note the INCH FEET on the top now.
The handles become a 4 INCH riser now.

They DO give you a book, but until this, it was not clear to me what was what or how they did large items.

And they prefer the 4 inch for some reason, but as I said, this one seems a tad high.
Put a muffin (or coffee cup) on it and you see what I mean.

If afraid of scorching- treat like a microwave and reduce power percentage.

Using this -the “monster-sized whatever meat” wont scorch when you cook it. And you dont have to de-bone it.

TWO INCH mode

(different rack):

two-inch

So they give you the extra level, which is 2 INCHES.
Doubles as a second rack, should you need one.
The second pan they give you is for pies and cakes and cookies.

The BIG PAN is the only one that fits the bottom.

LEAVE it there unless cleaning.
Dish-a-washer if you lazy but you will need a grease cutter soap otherwise.

[HAM-BER-GREESA anyone? YEA-H!]

TIN FOIL

HMMMM… Doesnt seem to work here.
Use if you dont want things to burn but you still need room around your object covered. Dont expect to cook with TIN FOIL.

The heat wont penetrate. Really odd. Otherwise, no TIN FOIL will not harm this. This is NOT a MICROWAVE, it is an OVEN.

-Best $150 I ever spent by the way.

So how does it fare?

meh

ISSUES:

DRIP PAN and RACK NOT COMING CLEAN
Cracks and such in bases(need replacing after awhile)

I have a interim solution to UNCLEAN RACKS:

Use an outdoor grill cleaner brush (plastic) and treat the racks like its outside when its not.
